represents all main religions, peoples and ways of being, held
together with the dove of peace.
“I was inspired to create the Peacechain in 2002 to counteract the wave of cultural and religious intolerance amplified by the events of 9/11. It is a beautiful and unique necklace of 9 sterling silver or gold discs with the symbols of all main religions, peoples and ways of being held together with the dove of peace in the middle. It is designed to be worn as a personal statement of peace, tolerance and respect for all people, as a celebration of the unity beyond diversity. Wear the Peace jewellery as
your badge of office!
World peace can only begin within each human heart - one peace at a time! In order to assist the wearer hold their own space of peace despite external circumstances, each peacechain and bracelet has been inscribed on the reverse with the words for “peace” in 13 different languages, to affect us at a cellular level. The dove has the words for “peace” and “love” in Esperanto (the universal language, designed to unite all people) on the back. Each item of peace jewellery has also been blessed in a temple to bring peace to the wearer and peace to the world.”
WORLD PEACE DAY - SEPTEMBER 21st
"Every gun that is made,
every warship that is launched and every rocket fired signifies, in the
final sense, a theft from those that hunger and are not fed, those who are
cold and are not clothed.
"Every country can agree not to go to war today;
"Every part of the earth is sacred to my people. Every shining pine
needle, every sandy shore, every mist in the dark woods, every
clearing and humming insect is holy in the memory and experience of my
people."
